Hurricane Milton Repair/Replacement Permits: When submitting a permit related to damage from Hurricane Milton, please specify in the permit description that the permit is related to hurricane damage. Per Resolution No. 24-03, Section 14 (b), beginning October 1st, 2024, the City of Port Orange will begin applying re-inspection fees to all failed inspections.

Contractors - Are you registered with Volusia County?

Contractors applying for a permit through this portal MUST be registered with Volusia County to pull permits. For information on how to register, visit their website at Contractor Licensing (volusia.org)


When are inspections available?

Inspections requested via the portal must be input prior to 5 pm the day before you want the inspection done; otherwise, they will be on the next business day. All cancelations of inspections must be input prior to 7 am the day of. The City of Port Orange inspects Monday through Friday from 8 am – 4pm. Requested times are not guaranteed.


Important:

Submitting an application to this portal does not permit work to begin immediately. A permit must be issued prior to work beginning.
